Another method to change the desktop wallpaper in Windows is to open up the Personalize option on the desktop (called Residence in Windows XP). To do this, do the following:.
Right-click on the desktop and select Personalize. (Or in the Windows 10 food selection, go to Setups > Customization > History.).
In Windows 8/7/Vista through Control board's Customization applet, and in Windows XP via the Present Control board applet.
Under the History dropdown, select Image.
You can opt to use a pre-loaded image from Microsoft or select Browse to find a different picture on your hard drive.
You can also make a decision if you desire the picture to fit, stretch, or fill up the screen, or perhaps for it to be tiled, focused, or covered across multiple screens.
Some variations of Windows have additional alternatives here, like automatically altering the desktop wallpaper after so-many seconds, which comes in useful if you do not intend to clear up with just one history.
