An additional way to change the desktop wallpaper in Windows is to open up the Personalize option on the desktop (called Residence in Windows XP). To do this, do the following:.
Right-click on the desktop and also select Personalize. (Or in the Windows 10 menu, go to Settings > Customization > History.).
In Windows 8/7/Vista with Control Panel's Customization applet, and also in Windows XP by means of the Present Control Panel applet.
Under the History dropdown, select Image.
You can opt to use a pre-loaded image from Microsoft or select Browse to find a different photo on your hard disk.
You can also choose if you want the photo to fit, stretch, or fill the screen, or perhaps for it to be tiled, centered, or spanned across multiple screens.
Some variations of Windows have extra alternatives right here, like automatically transforming the desktop wallpaper after so-many seconds, which comes in handy if you don't intend to work out with just one background.
